Senior Oracle PL-SQL Developer (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL-based solutions.

The role requires strong expertise in SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle 19c), Performance Tuning, Unix Shell Scripting, and database optimization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL & PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

- Implement PL/SQL Performance Tuning techniques to enhance query execution speed.

- Design, develop, and manage database structures, indexes, and partitioning for high-performance transactions.

- Develop and maintain Unix Shell Scripts for database automation tasks and scheduled jobs.

- Work with large datasets and high-volume transactions to optimize data storage and retrieval.

- Collaborate with database administrators (DBAs) and application developers to ensure efficient database integration.

- Develop and maintain data migration, validation, and transformation procedures.

- Troubleshoot database performance issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide efficient solutions.

- Document technical specifications, procedures, and best practices for future reference.

- Support production deployments and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in SQL & PL/SQL (Oracle 19c) development.

- Strong expertise in PL/SQL Performance Tuning techniques.

- Hands-on experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation and process optimization.

- Experience with query optimization, indexing strategies, and execution plans.

- Understanding of transaction management, error handling, and database security.

- Ability to work with large datasets and high-volume databases.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Experience working in Agile environments with collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to Oracle APEX development.

- Knowledge of cloud-based Oracle database solutions.

- Familiarity with ETL tools and data warehousing concepts
