Quantity surveyor/Billing Manager

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quantity Surveyor/Billing Manager to join our team at Nitara. The ideal candidate will manage all costs associated with building and civil engineering projects, from initial calculations to final figures, ensuring projects are completed within budget and financially successful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices and terms.
• Manage project budgets, forecast costs, and monitor financial performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related costs and financial transactions.
• Advise on procurement, risk management, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with the design team and manage work valuations, claims, and variations.
• Participate in pre-tender activities and raise relevant pre-bid queries.
• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects achieve value for money.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Billing Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage project costs effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with BOQ preparation and cost estimation processes.
