MS-SQL Engineer - Lead

nGenue is a comprehensive all-in-one software solution for natural gas business. We are in search of experienced SQL Developers for our application development and business use. As an SQL Developer, you will develop MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports, and modify ERP user forms to enhance organizational productivity. You will also be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Proficiency with MS-SQL and its variation among popular databases.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Create and maintain database objects, such as tables, indexes, and views, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Hands on experience in creating Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors and Debugging Skills.
• Proficient at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality SQL code.
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as {Git / Mercurial / SVN}.
• Design custom reports using SSRS.
• Excels in team leadership and providing guidance.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering, MCA with relevant degree.
• Proven 10+ years direct experience as a MS-SQL Developer.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team guidance.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational database management systems.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong intercompany, communication skills in English required.
• Motivated to learn new technologies and functional areas.
