Job Title: Senior Manager - Human Resources
Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Reporting to Leadership
Location constraints: Professionals staying in Navi Mumbai, Thane are preferred
Working week: 6 days with 2nd and 4th Sat off.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Human Resources manager for our client, a Great Place To Work certified organization. This role is pivotal in developing and managing human capital within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively while maintaining a tough yet fair authority.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and onboard new hires. Conduct performance management and provide feedback.
- Manage payroll and benefits for employees.
- Work closely with business teams to design and deliver HR strategy for the organization.
- Lead a team of 8 to 10 HR professionals to manage recruitment, HR operations, talent management, payroll, admin, etc.
- Drive the development and implementation of organizational strategy.
- Act as a strategic advisor on all aspects of people management for the organization.
- Create HR policies and procedures, provide employee relations guidelines, and help improve overall manager-employee relationships.
- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Develop and implement departmental budgets.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources.
Qualifications:
- MBA or HR degree with at least 8 years of human resource experience with growth companies, including at least 4 years in team management.
- Expertise in HR functional areas including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits, etc.
- Great team player who can work effectively in a matrix organization environment with an employee strength of 550+.
- Experience creating and executing programs in strategic HR areas like operations efficiency, organization development, and change management.
- Familiarity with HRMS systems and tools implementation is preferred.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
