- Lead the recruitment process and strategy in India, including identifying staffing needs, creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the onboarding process. Partner with hiring managers to ensure the right talent is brought on board.
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and disputes. Develop and implement employee engagement programs that foster a positive work environment and improve retention rates.
- Oversee performance appraisal processes, set KPIs and objectives, and manage feedback and development plans. Work with team leaders to support individual and team performance improvement.
- Identify training needs and create development programs to enhance skills and career growth. Coordinate with external training providers and ensure that employees have access to relevant resources.
- Ensure the company complies with all relevant labor laws, statutory requirements, and industry regulations. Keep up to date with changes in local labor laws and advise the leadership team on necessary policy adjustments.
- Ensure all standard operating documentation (SOP) are maintained and updated timely and provides accurate information.
- Drive continuous improvement standards to promote team efficiency.
- Drive team member engagement and support the leadership team in fostering a strong company culture that promotes innovation, inclusivity, and employee well-being.
- Define and Develop performance metrics, monitor team member productivity, and generate appropriate progress reports for review by the leaders.
- Use data-driven insights to analyze HR metrics, including turnover, hiring trends, employee satisfaction, etc., and recommend actions for improvement.
Requirements/Preferred Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Global HR, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Knowledge of Global HR practices, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, and compliance - specifically supporting operations in India.
- In-depth understanding of labor laws and regulations in India.
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in HRIS/HCM and ATS
