Business Insights and Market Research Analyst - Work from Home

Role & responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cross Functional Teams to understand research requirements and develop research briefs.
• Design primary research questionnaires under minimal supervision for various product initiatives.
• Leverage secondary research subscriptions, industry reports and competitor analysis tools to generate quantitative and qualitative analyses to support business recommendations.
• Use a combination of both research and internal business information to arrive at meaningful recommendations with regard to new product initiatives. Present findings through compelling reports to cross functional teams in a timely manner.
• Assist the team in developing quarterly category handbooks, economic trend and consumer trend reports to be shared with cross functional teams.
• Support the manager in quantifying business opportunities using models such as NPV.
• Assist the team with all the research work for the assigned categories, identify information gaps and recommend next steps to fill those strategic gaps.
• Be well versed with market movements and futuristic trends. Contribute to new product initiatives by bringing in research backed innovative ideas for consideration.

Preferred candidate profile

• A bachelors degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in consumer insights and analytics or strategic planning roles.
• Strong analytical skills, effective time management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to maintain execution of tasks in project focused times.
• Prior experience in using survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, Momentive).
• Familiarity with NPV and forecasting is an asset.
