Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development/Key Accounts Manager to manage and strengthen relationships with banks, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of our technology-driven lending solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing strategic partnerships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key banking clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Business Development:
- Identify and secure new opportunities with banking clients to expand the adoption of our lending technology products.
- Negotiate and close strategic agreements with banking partners.
Product Advocacy:
- Articulate the value proposition of our technology lending solutions to banking stakeholders.
- Work closely with the product team to tailor solutions that meet specific client requirements.
Account Management:
- Monitor the performance of existing banking partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular reviews with banking clients to address feedback and explore upselling opportunities.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive developments in the banking and fintech sectors.
- Provide insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and market strategies.
Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to banking partners.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, or a similar role, within the banking or fintech industry only
- Proven track record of building and managing key client relationships in the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, lending solutions, and technology-driven financial products.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and adept at problem-solving.
