Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
- Maintain PostgreSQL
- Integration of user-facing elements with server side logic
- Proficient in Test Driven Development and using github
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as spree and solidus
- Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances,Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking
- Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like git and Familiarity with continuous integration
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming,Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript
