Job Title: DevOps Engineer with CI/CD and Test Automation Expertise

Job Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in CI/CD pipelines and test automation. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with software engineers, QA, and IT staff to deploy and operate scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You will also be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, ensuring the highest levels of availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

DevOps Practices :

- Design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps practices to enhance development, testing, and production environments.

- Establish and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

CI/CD Pipeline Development :

- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate testing into pipelines.

- Monitor, analyze, and improve pipeline performance to reduce deployment time and enhance reliability.

Test Automation :

- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality.

- Integrate test automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines.

- Work closely with QA teams to identify testing gaps and introduce automation to streamline processes.

Monitoring & Optimization :

- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to track system health and performance.

- Conduct root cause analysis for issues in production environments and implement preventive measures.

Collaboration :

- Act as a bridge between development, operations, and QA teams to foster a collaborative culture.

- Participate in architecture and code reviews to provide input on operational scalability and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.

- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation tasks.

- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Cloud Experience :

- Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, AKS/EKS, Cloud Build).

Test Automation Skills :

- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, or TestNG.

- Ability to write and maintain robust test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing.

CI/CD Expertise :

- In-depth understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, including pipeline as code.

Monitoring Tools :

- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
