Key Responsibilities:

• Collect blood samples from patients, ensuring minimal discomfort and accurate technique.
• Label, store, and transport blood samples properly to the laboratory for testing.
• Verify patient identity and maintain accurate records of blood draws and specimen collection.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure a hygienic environment.
• Communicate with patients to explain the blood collection process and address any concerns.
• Assist in the management and inventory of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with doctors and lab technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards.
• Perform basic medical tasks such as checking vital signs when required.
• Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
