Job Description
- Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand visibility, reach, and engagement on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Create, curate, and schedule compelling and relevant content across social media channels to drive user engagement, website traffic, and conversions.
- Monitor social media trends, topics, and conversations related to the tech industry and adapt content strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing and communication strategies.
- Engage with our online community, respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, ad creation, and performance monitoring.
- Analyze social media data and metrics to track campaign performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms to ensure our strategies remain innovative and effective.
- Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and engaging social media assets, such as images, videos, and info graphics.
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and recommend strategies for differentiation and growth.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and protect the organizations reputation on social media platforms.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Marketer or similar role in the tech industry for 2 to 3 years.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Google Analytics, and social media listening tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different platforms and target audiences.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze social media metrics and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms and experience in managing paid campaigns.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and their application in social media content.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
