NetApp - Senior Product Manager - Virtualization (12-18 yrs)

Job Summary :

The Manageability Product Team is responsible for building and leading the industry "best-in-class" management platform. We have a unique opportunity to execute on our Virtualization Strategy within the Product Management team at NetApp. NetApp platform team works closely with On-Prem and Cloud teams, Solution architects, Outbound PM and GTM, Product Marketing, Sales and Data Analytics.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Manageability Platform team, you will define and evolve our end-to-end vision for virtualization and executing on the roadmap by leading a core team of engineers and designers to build amazing products for our expansive customer base. Were looking for someone who can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of our customers and technology, with expertise in VMware, storage, hybrid cloud IT infrastructures concepts.

Job Requirements :

- Critical member of the Manageability product management team to define and deliver on VMware virtualization

- Lead the end-to-end cases for VMware (Provisioning, Monitoring, Disaster recovery, Automation & Orchestration)

- Develop Product Roadmaps that are endorsed by key stakeholders.

- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined requirements and user stories.

- Work cross functionally with NetApp portfolio product teams, sales teams, partners and customers

- Create enhancement opportunities by reviewing existing metrics, analyzing trends and performance dashboards; strive for continuous improvement in product service level targets and offerings.

- Lead alignment across sales, product management, engineering and product marketing functions to deliver solutions for the customer.

- Work with GTM teams to plan and drive launches, awareness and adoption.

Skills :

- Experience building enterprise products from ideation to launch.

- Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and design discussions.

- Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams of engineers towards a common goal.

- Experience in Virtualization area, including VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V

- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and other agile tools.

- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-changing environment.

- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving business growth and achieving measurable outcomes.

- Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams.

Education :

- A minimum of 12+ years experience in product management or related technical role. 12 to 15 years of experience is preferred.

- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, a Master degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.
