Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer/Consultant to provide specialized technical support for IT Security systems and services across our enterprise.

The ideal candidate will have broad and in-depth knowledge of Network/IT Security infrastructure implementation, management, operations, and solution delivery concepts.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide BAU and Project-related support for Security Technologies within the Cyber Protection- Portfolio.

- Perform "business-as-usual" technology management and support functions across enterprise- Network/IT security technology systems.

- Report to Platform/Senior Managers and senior team members on technology system status and- posture.

- Perform problem diagnosis and use technical expertise to develop options and solutions to specific problems that are often technical in nature and contribute to remediation, repair, and recovery- activity.

- Create and contribute to the maintenance of support-related documentation and Knowledge base- articles.

- Participate in the rotating team on-call after-hours support rosters.

Experience & Critical Skills Required :

- Experience deploying and supporting infrastructure/applications hosted within industry-recognized- Cloud Suppliers (AWS/Azure/Google).

- Experience in a Medium size Enterprise Environment (more than 5,000 users) across different- geographies.

- Minimum of 3+ years Network/IT Security related experience (3 to 8 Years core Network Security- experience).

Qualifications :

- Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or related field.

- IT Security related certification (e.g, CISM, CISSP).

- Cloud experience and certifications, such as :

1. AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate).

2. AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Associate).

3. AWS Certified Developer (Associate).

- Industry qualifications or relevant IT Security specific experience.

Skills and Experience :

- Deep technical capability (plan, build, and run) across a broad range of Infrastructure and Security technologies.

Skills and experience with the following product sets and principles :

- Firewalls (Checkpoint, F5, and Cloud native AWS and Azure FWs).

- Management and upkeep of Akamai WAF policies.

- Networking : Comms and Protocols, Address translations, and NLB's at an Enterprise level.

- Cloud-based native Firewall products and principles, and associated technologies- (AWS/Azure, Google Cloud).

-Experience with managing and supporting AlgoSec, or similar industry-recognized Firewall policy specific tooling, will be highly regarded.

- Able to identify and deliver opportunities to automate where possible to improve delivery times and- drive continuous improvements.

- Strong understanding of Enterprise level problem, change, and incident management concepts.

- Understanding of key IT security concepts.
