The Compute Support Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of mission-critical compute environments. This position is integral to the Global Support team, where you will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including customers, partners, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for compute products such as ProLiant, Synergy, C7000 Blade Enclosures, Apollo, and OneView.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries related to product features, specifications, and repairs for both current and discontinued products.
• Lead technical problem management by collaborating with end customers, remote teams, and field support staff.
• Develop and communicate action plans for investigating and resolving complex technical issues.
• Document technical solutions and create knowledge base articles for effective issue resolution.
• Identify and contribute to projects or process improvements to enhance product support, customer satisfaction, and team efficiency.
• Respond to technical and customer relations inquiries while ensuring a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving discussions and ensuring clarity.
• Isolate and resolve complex technical or business problems while collaborating with teams across various levels and geographies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in technical support or a related field, preferably in a compute environment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting compute products such as ProLiant, Synergy, C7000 Blade Enclosures, Apollo, and OneView.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, virtualization, and networking.
• Familiarity with storage connectivity and Direct Attached Storage (DAS).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior staff.
