TOSCA Automation Engineer - SAP Testing (4-6 yrs)

Role Description :

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Tosca automation professional at NetConnectGlobal in Bengaluru, with the flexibility for some remote work.

The role involves process automation, troubleshooting, creating test cases, ensuring quality assurance, and implementing automation solutions to streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Tosca Expertise :

- Hands-on experience with SAP Tosca, including framework explorer.

- Design and implementation of test automation frameworks using Tosca on SAP.

- Integrate Tosca with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g, Selenium).

- Develop and maintain robust automation scripts using VB Script.

SAP Testing :

- In-depth knowledge of SAP testing methodologies and best practices.

- Experience testing various SAP modules (e.g, SD, MM) is preferred.

- Conduct functional testing and regression testing of SAP applications.

Automation Framework Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive test automation framework using Tosca.

- Ensure the framework is scalable, maintainable, and reusable.

- Integrate the framework with other tools and systems as required.

Test Case Design and Execution :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and log them in a defect tracking system.

- Work closely with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Process Automation :

- Identify and implement process automation opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Automate repetitive tasks using Tosca and other automation tools.

- Monitor and maintain automated processes to ensure optimal performance.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain detailed documentation of all test cases, test scripts, and automation frameworks.

- Prepare comprehensive test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Project Implementation :

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Quality Assurance :

- Ensure the quality of all software releases by conducting thorough testing and identifying potential issues.

- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and best practices.

Stay Updated :

- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automation testing, SAP, and related fields.

- Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training and certifications.

Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.

- Proven experience with SAP Tosca, including framework development and implementation.

- Experience testing SAP modules (e.g, SD, MM) is highly preferred.

- Strong scripting skills in VB Script.

- Experience with other testing tools and frameworks (e.g, Selenium) is a plus.

- Experience with testing management tools like ALM or similar.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good documentation and reporting skills.

- Passion for automation and continuous improvement.
