SAP PP Consultant 

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PP Module Configuration and Implementation:

Lead the configuration, customization, and implementation of the SAP PP module, ensuring it meets business needs and aligns with best practices.

Configure SAP PP functionalities including Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Capacity Planning, Work Scheduling, Production Orders, and Shop Floor Control.

Implement integration between SAP PP and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, WM, and FICO to enable seamless data flow and process coordination across the enterprise.

Business Process Analysis and Solution Design:

Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document production-related requirements.

Map business processes to SAP PP functionalities and design solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, production planning, and scheduling.

Provide recommendations to optimize production processes, reduce lead times, improve resource utilization, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

System Integration and Data Management:

Manage the integration of SAP PP with other business functions, ensuring smooth data flow across the supply chain, procurement, inventory, and sales modules.

Coordinate with technical teams for the integration of SAP PP with external systems, such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or third-party planning tools.

Oversee the data migration process, ensuring the accurate transfer of master data such as Bill of Materials (BOM), Routing, Work Centers, and Production Orders.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

Lead or support the testing process for SAP PP configurations, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Develop test cases and work with business users to perform testing, validate results, and ensure the solution meets production requirements.

Address defects and issues discovered during testing, and ensure timely resolution to keep the project on track.

End-User Training and Support:

Provide comprehensive training for end-users on SAP PP functionalities, such as production planning, order execution, and reporting.

Offer ongoing support to address user issues, troubleshoot system errors, and assist with production-related inquiries.

Develop training materials, user documentation, and process manuals to ensure proper knowledge transfer and user adoption.
