Java Backend Developer (10 Openings).

Mumbai (Hybrid : 2-3 days in office).

Experience : 5-10 Years.

Key skills : Java database ( any relational DB) , Core Java, Data Structures concepts, SQL, Spring, DB2 Databases, Distributed Cache, Intermediate Scripting skills understanding of basic Unix shell scripts, Python.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills :

- Java Expertise : Strong proficiency in Java, including core Java concepts, Object-Oriented Programming, and design patterns.

- Spring Framework : Expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.)

- Database Proficiency : Strong experience with DB2 databases.

- Distributed Systems : Experience with distributed caching technologies.

- Scripting : Intermediate scripting skills, including Unix shell scripting and Python.

- Agile Development : Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

Desired Skills :

- Experience with financial markets and derivatives products.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with message queues (i.e., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience with micro-services architecture.

Job Responsibilities :

- Part of team involved in developing & enhancing Listed Derivatives applications.

- Develop multi-tiered risk applications related to core Listed Derivatives platform (for senior developer role) using Java/database.

- Ability to operate independently or within a team.

- Ability to play both leadership and team contributor roles.

- Clear communication and business face-off skills are essential.

- Develop secure and efficient high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.

- Identify opportunities to eliminate, automate or remediate recurring issues to improve operational stability.

- Interact with multiple upstream and downstream, and understand the end-to-end trade flow.

- Technology Stack : Multi-tiered enterprise applications using core Java, Spring, DB2.
