Job Description
- Data Ingestion & Processing : Design and develop frameworks for data ingestion and real-time processing, leveraging open-source tools and modern data processing frameworks.
- Technology Expertise : Utilize GCP, Python/Scala, Spark, and SQL to build robust data processing solutions, ensuring seamless data transformation and accessibility.
- System Support : Participate in a support rotation with team members to provide system maintenance and resolve any operational issues.
- Data Analytics Tools : Operationalize open-source data-analytics tools for enterprise use, optimizing them for performance and scalability.
- Data Governance & Quality Assurance : Implement data governance policies by ensuring data lineage, quality checks, and data classification, maintaining data integrity and compliance.
- SDLC Adherence : Follow the company s Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes to develop, deploy, and deliver high-quality data engineering solutions.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of IT experience in software engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with projects involving the implementation of software development life cycles (SDLC).
