Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL databases for high performance and high availability applications.
Optimize queries and database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
Implement database security best practices, including access control and encryption.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues (e.g., slow queries, deadlocks, replication failures).
Configure and maintain replication, clustering, and failover setups for disaster recovery and high availability.
Work closely with developers to optimize SQL queries and ensure efficient data access.
Monitor database performance using monitoring tools and logs, and proactively resolve potential issues.
Create and manage database scripts for automation (e.g., backups, migrations).
Provide guidance and training on PostgreSQL best practices to the development and operations teams.

Extensive experience and strong knowledge in PostgreSQL database administration and architecture.
