Role Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator (MongoDB, MySQL/PostgreSQL) to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Chennai, Pallavaram.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in database administration and will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient design, management, troubleshooting, and replication of our database systems.

This role also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize database performance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and manage databases, primarily MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

- Design and implement database architecture to meet organizational needs.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot database performance issues and provide effective resolutions.

- Configure and maintain database replication and backups to ensure data availability and reliability.

- Monitor database systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

- Collaborate with application development teams to ensure seamless integration of database solutions.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and recommend improvements.

- Maintain compliance with database security standards and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Proven experience in Database Administration and Database Design with at least 5 years of hands-on expertise.

- Strong skills in troubleshooting and database replication techniques.

- Proficiency in working with MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with database performance tuning and query optimization.

- Knowledge of AWS services related to database management is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- AWS Certification or similar credentials are an added advantage.

- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
