Job Description
- Design and implement server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Develop RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and third-party integrations.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- If a front-end developer, to integrate user-facing elements.
- Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
- Ensure security and data protection protocols are implemented.
- Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in server-side languages such as C++ programming
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Daily activities:
- Check emails and chats for updates since you are working with a global team of engineers.
- Update manager at least once each 24 period as to progress on current assignment.
- Continue till completion any current programming assignments.
- Check daily any backlog assignments.
- Run appropriate unit tests on new code.
- Notify Superior when code assignments are appropriate for Quality Assurance to test.
- Synch daily with the corresponding front or backend team member.
- Record, for appropriate time sheets, the hours worked each day.
- Report daily any blockers of progress.
