Scope of Services

Market Analysis and Strategy Development

• Conduct research on commodities markets, identifying trends, anomalies, and scope of improvement in contract designs and suggest improvements based on the quantitative analysis.
• Market Microstructure Analysis- Analyze the order flow, market depth, and liquidity conditions to better understand the trading dynamics in commodity markets.
• Backtesting and Optimization- Use historical data to backtest trading strategies and optimize for performance, risk-adjusted returns, and execution costs

Development of new product

• Proactively work with, and assist, the relevant Head of Department & teams to work on the development of newer products such as weather derivatives, Carbon credit, Options, commodity indices etc.
• Assisting the products team on the launch and market outreach plan for the new age products.
• Assisting the business head in analyzing the suitability of launching the international contracts and helping in collaborating with such exchanges if required.

Mentoring the Quant team

• Mentoring of the Quant team and supporting them by providing guidance in various data analysis required on a day to day basis.
• Training and Mentorship- Support the training of junior analysts by sharing quantitative methodologies and best practices.
