JOB PURPOSE.
To implement, monitor, review & control the Process parameters in order to achieve the design objectives, achieve products yield & quality as per the targets while ensuring safe & reliable plan operations and enhance the operational excellence of the Process Unit.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Planning & Budgeting:To lead coordination of maintenance, technical and operational strategies into unit specific, in order to achieve business targets..
To finalize long term, medium term & short term planning wrt business plan..
To achieve throughput, reliability, availability quality as per the plan..
Coordination with Process, inspection & Lab to achieve the throughput & yield as per the plan..
To prepare & finalize the operational budget..
To review & approve maintenance procurement actions..
Prepare and finalize turn around job list..
Shutdown/ startup and turnaround activities planning and effective implementation.
Systems, Policies & Procedures :To lead, design, implement & direct development and improvement of systems, procedures & policies in order to create a management framework to achieve business's goals.
Designing/Development of unit specific systems, policies & procedures..
Effective communication to all the employees concerned for effective implementation of systems, policies & procedures..
Ensuring proper implementation of SOPs across the operating unit..
Maintenance, project work & startup of new facility after new construction / modifications are authorized only after pre start safety review..
TEAM MANAGEMENT:To create, maintain and improve the unit team in order to achieve the team's objectives and continue to do so over time..

Resolution of PSSR points and other audit points..
To ensure that Life Saving rules are followed..
To minimize nos of Process interlock bypass..
Ensure participation in safety initiatives..
ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.
Systems, Policies & Procedures:To be accountable for implementation and improvement of the EMS systems, procedures & policies in respective Plant operations..
Authority:To initiate and stop effluent evacuation disposal procedures according to safety and environment norms..
To closely monitor efficient data, waste management..
Control stacks emission..

To control treatment effluent..
Individual shall be responsible and ensure that he/ she is aware of all the RIMS & EnMS documents for respective department which includes process plan, SOP, AIRR, Department Objectives & Targets and legal compliance pertaining to their KRA/KPI..

Awareness about energy policy, significant energy uses, energy objectives and energy management system..
