IT Manager

As an IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our technology infrastructure and ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems in support of our international freight forwarding operations. You will be responsible for managing both hardware and software solutions, troubleshooting issues, and leading a team of IT professionals. Your expertise in problem-solving will be essential in maintaining our competitive edge in the logistics industry.

### Key Responsibilities:

1. *IT Strategy Development:*

- Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with the companys business goals.

- Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the freight forwarding industry.

2. *Infrastructure Management:*

- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware systems.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of all IT systems, minimizing downtime.

3. *Software Solutions:*

- Manage the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of software applications used in freight forwarding operations.

- Collaborate with software vendors to ensure optimal performance and support.

4. *Hardware Troubleshooting:*

- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues, including outsourced servers, workstations, and networking equipment.

- Oversee the procurement and lifecycle management of hardware assets.

5. *Team Leadership:*

- Manage and mentor the Staff towards IT basic First Aid & know how , fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

- Delegate tasks and monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion of IT initiatives.

6. *User Support and Training:*

- Provide technical support to staff, addressing software and hardware issues efficiently.

- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to enhance staff IT skills.

7. *Security Management:*

- Implement and maintain IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

8. *Budget Management:*

- Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

- Evaluate and recommend technology investments to optimize operations.

9. *Collaboration:*

- Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.

- Liaise with external service providers and vendors to ensure quality support and service delivery.
