Lead Frontend Developer

Role Description:

​Front-end tech Lead owns the architectural decisions for BHIM app visible to final user. The frontend TL is an executor and the visionary force behind the customer-centric BHIM. The frontend TL works with frontend engineers to create a modular solution that addresses future architectural designs. The frontend TL will drive the best practices in test driven development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement customer centric product, under the supervision of the tech architect
• Lead project teams on technology strategy related to coding practices, continuous integration and automated deployment
• Responsible for the technical design of the frontend product
• Mentor and coach the frontend team, specifically with code reviews
• Be hands on and engage in coding to help the team to develop his solution and solve all surfacing problems at hand Identifies and removes technical impediments
• Work with Product Owner to align the roadmap with strengths and opportunities within the technical stack
• Thought partner with the Product owner in story creation and acceptance criteria, and communicate tradeoffs effectively with Designers
• Provide the team a roadmap for implementing software higher code quality

Domain Experience:

• 7+ years of proven tech experience of the technical components of the domains/products
• Bachelors in Computer Science (or related field) and Masters in Computer Science (or related field) preferred
• Experience in developing and scaling high-quality payment platforms in cross-functional product teams
• Prior experience of leading teams for mobile application development
• Seasoned professional with experience in Frontend (e.g., Android, CMS,CDN)
• Seasoned technical lead with deep insight into newest technologies
• Deep tech knowledge around platform architecture and frontend frameworks

Agile/Digital Experience:

• Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar)
• Understands relationship with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Design Lead and rest of technical team
