Technology Operations Manager | National Health Authority (NHA), Delhi

About the role:

NHA is seeking a highly skilled Technology Operations Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Technology Operations Manager will oversee day to day operations of NHA's technology department and ensure that our technology infrastructure, applications & APIs runs smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

B.E/B.TECH OR MCA from a reputed college/University.

Technical Experience & Competencies:

• Overall, minimum 10 years of total IT experience post qualification completion.
• Proven experience as a Technology Operations Manager or similar role in managing technology operations.
• Strong understanding of IT applications, networks, security, databases and storage systems.
• Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL, and ITSM tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow or BMC Remedy.
• Incident management and escalations to resolve issues timely, documenting RCA
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically.
• Cross team collaboration and ability to lead and drive the problem resolution meetings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Certifications:

• Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, PMP, or CISSP is preferred.

Key Mandate:

• Manage and direct all aspects of technology operations, ensuring that IT systems runs smoothly, and all issues are resolved timely.
• Document RCA for all incidents in production systems, recommend actions, share lessons learnt and best practices.
• Manage changes to production systems, set up change management process to ensure minimal outage.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practice guidelines for the NHA.
• Conduct regular system audits and software performance reviews to detect and rectify problems.
• Oversee and manage a team of IT professionals and technicians.
• Coordinate IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.
• Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of IT outages and disruptions.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and assess their potential impact on the organization's IT strategy.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Direct and support the implementation of new software and hardware upgrades.
• Identify and recommend new technology solutions.
