Domain: Data Science and Data Management Expert

Shall act as a Data Science and Data Base expert in the department.

Role Responsibilities:

• Review of Database design, Data Architecture, and Data migration activities of the project.
• Identify potential use cases for the application of Data science tools and techniques in projects
• Use of data analytics in projects to derive useful information, build data models, and lab-to-field deployment of such data models to identify tax evasion and avoidance and use of Data science and statistical modeling techniques to widen and deepen tax base.
• Ability to write/execute/deploy complex SQL queries, and perform large-scale risk assessment models
• Performing Data level testing and UAT, understanding of data-related risks, and mitigation measures
• Understanding of Data formats like JSON, XML, and efficient data transfer and data storage techniques
• Review of data migration process between DC-DR sites, data archiving, data recovery, data Security, data lineage, and governance related processes in various projects
• Monitoring and coordination with the application development teams for end-to-end service delivery.
• Cross functional team coordination to manage Data Management life cycle.
• Other related activities as assigned by CIT (PMU) from time to time.

Essential Qualifications*:

• Should hold a degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics and Communication engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation engineering/Electrical engineering from a premier institution appearing in the latest NIRF ranking in the top 100 rank.
• Should bring in at least 10+ years of experience in advanced analytics technology, Databases, Data governance techniques.
• Should have working experience in an IT organization with employee strength of more than 300 employees.
• Should have led data science teams and projects in BFSI, Retail or government sector, with high transactional load.

Desirable Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• Latest certifications in Data Sciences, Data Analytics, AI/ML techniques, NLP, Deep learning, Database design
• Should know about enterprise data warehousing (ETL), data transformations, API-based data exchange.
• Should have experience in advanced analytics, data governance, data lineage techniques, Data migration.
• Should have knowledge of the Data Protection Act and consequent changes in legacy systems.
• Should know data-related automation tools and automation testing.
• Should have working exposure in monolithic and microservices architecture, APIs.
• Should have experience in database design, SQL query writing, and heavy/complex query development.
• Knowledge of Data Base technologies, knowledge of various databases, OLAP and OLTP Systems
• Data optimization techniques, quality control, Root cause analysis
• Must have handled petabyte scale of database sizes.
• Experience in working on techniques of supervised/unsupervised learning, data engineering, AI models deployment, CNN, RNN, Reinforcement learning, BIG data technologies.
• Experience on latest data visualization and analysis tools like Power BI, VBA, Tableau, python, R, SAS, AI/ML frameworks like Tensor Flow, Py Spark, DS tools like Anaconda, and mastery over Cassandra, JSON, and Big data, predictive modeling techniques like GLM, Linear Regression, Time Series, Segmentation/Cluster Analysis, Decision Trees & Random Forests, and Deep learning models like BERT
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
