Responsibilities

• Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS), Government of Chhattisgarh invites applications from enterprising and aspiring candidates for the position of Senior Finance Manager. Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society is executing many national and state IT related, Software related, fibers infrastructure and specialized project in Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Government is deeply aligned with the National vision of a Digital India and eager to make Chhattisgarh one of the first states to embrace and deliver this vision to the people of Chhattisgarh. For these projects and day-to-day accounting related activity CHiPS intends to hire a Senior Finance Manager.
• The scope of work to be undertaken by Senior Finance Manager is given herein after and the same is merely illustrative and not exhaustive. The Senior Finance Manager position shall thus have to consider the required output and include all further incidental activities that may be necessary for efficient and successful implementation and for achieving the ultimate purpose of the assignment.
• The Scope of Work for the proposed engagement will primarily consist of the following: Govt. Accounting and bookkeeping Process Compliance of different applicable laws like Income tax, GST etc. Supervising all Payment Process. Preparation of various financial data required by Different Govt. agency and Departments.

Eligibility CriteriaEducation: Educational qualification: B.Com/M.Com and should be Chartered Accountant (C.A.) from ICAI.

Experience:

• Minimum 15+ years of experience post CA in Accounting field.
• Should have worked in Government Department/PSU/Society etc. in a project. departments funded by Central or State Government for a minimum of 5 years
• Should be well versed with all applicable tax related laws.
• Supervising and executing Preliminary Audit of projects and other bills
• Supervising all the entry for bookkeeping
• Preparation of different files and letters for finance/ Account related matters.
• Provide and prepare all the data and details for internal Audit and statutory Audit.
• Supervise preparation and provide data and replies to CAG Audits.
• Supervise statutory and internal Audit.
• Supervise preparation of return for TDS, Income tax, GST etc.
• Should be good in written and verbal communication skills
• Ensures compliances of various laws and statutes
• Any other finance or account related work allocated by competent authority.

• Leadership and teamwork: Experience of successfully building and leading a team.
• Analytical and conceptual ability: Demonstrated ability in analyzing financial data, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and the strategy for achieving them
• Programmatic ability: Demonstrated ability in translating KPIs and the strategy for achieving them into actionable plans, executing them, and monitoring their implementation against the KPIs.

• Communication skills: Proficient in both written and oral communication in English and Hindi.

Key Skills:▪ 15+ years of experience in Accounting Field
▪ 5+ years of experience in Government Accounting Process.
▪ Should have experience in Government accounting and auditing.
▪ Time management skills
▪ Analytical skills
