About the role

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross functional teams to understand project requirements and create test scenarios that cover all possible use cases.

Qualifications

B.E/B.TECH OR MCA/MBA from a reputed college/University.

Technical Experience & Competencies

• Candidate should have minimum 6 years overall IT experience post qualifications completion
• Skills on software testing, test case creation and execution, Manual and automated testing.
• API Testing through tools like Postman

Key Mandate

1. Test Plan creation Develop overall test plan for a functionality, list down overall test

strategy.

2. Test Case Development: Develop and maintain test cases based on project requirements,

ensuring comprehensive coverage of software functionalities and edge cases.

3. Test Execution: Execute test cases manually or through automated testing tools to identify

software defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from expected behavior.

4. Defect Management: Document, track, and prioritize defects using designated tools,

collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution and accurate fixes.

5. Regression Testing: Perform regular regression testing to verify that previously developed

and tested software functions properly after changes or enhancements.

6. API Testing: Exposure and hands on API testing using tools like postman

7. Collaborative Testing: Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other

QA personnel to diagnose, replicate, and resolve reported defects, ensuring timely fixes and

alignment of testing efforts with project goals and timelines.

8. Execute test plans for mobile and web applications, identifying and reporting functional and

usability defects across various devices and browsers.

9. Leverage exploratory testing techniques to uncover unexpected issues and ensure a smooth

user experience.
