Wadhwani Foundation - Startup Development Program Head (8-12 yrs)

Role Overview:

The Program Lead is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of the ecosystem capacity-building program across the hub. This role focuses on high-level partnerships, program design, and ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy & Vision: Develop and execute the overall strategy for ecosystem growth and capacity building.

- Partnership Development: Build and manage relationships with local government bodies, universities, incubators, accelerators, investors, and corporates.

- Program Oversight: Monitor program execution in each hub, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with objectives.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the program in public forums, industry events, and government meetings to enhance visibility.

- Impact Measurement: Define and track program KPIs to evaluate ecosystem growth and startup outcomes.

- Risk Management: Identify risks and challenges and implement strategies to mitigate them.

- Budget & Resource Management: Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines to deliver programs effectively.

Qualifications:

- 8-12 years of experience in program management, ecosystem development, or entrepreneurship support.

- Proven track record in strategic partnerships and ecosystem building.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Familiarity with startup ecosystems, incubators, and government networks.

- Ability to travel frequently across the 5 hubs.
