Our client is EPC Company Delivering Project for Power, Energy sector ( T&D ,Cables)

Role Purpose:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient sourcing, procurement, and supply chain management of components and materials like [Gas / Air Insulated Switchgears, Circuit breakers, CT, PT, CRP .SAS]. Formulating procurement strategies, streamline processes, and optimize costs, ultimately contributing to the successful delivery of cutting-edge power solutions. Extending support to tendering teams

Job Requirements:

Exp: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a focus on Gas / Air Insulated Switchgears, Circuit breakers, CT, PT, CRP .SAS, within the energy/power sector.

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Electrical, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluation of Tower Internals types considering the process

- Collaborate closely to develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to the unique demands of Gas / Air Insulated Switchgears, Circuit breakers, CT, PT, CRP .SAS.

- Leverage your 15+ years of procurement experience to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers while maintaining long-term relationships.

- Arranging Pre bid discussions, formalization of commercial terms etc.

- Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry innovations to identify new opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between procurement, engineering, project management, and other stakeholders.

- Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate procurement of critical materials.

- Mitigate supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions and implementing contingency plans.

- Drive sustainability initiatives by evaluating and selecting suppliers that align with our environmental and social responsibility goals.

- MIS preparations, monthly updates etc.

- maintaining records in SAP

Key Skills:

- Proven track record of successful negotiations, cost savings, and supplier relationship management.

- Strong analytical skills to assess market dynamics, supplier performance, and cost structures.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

- Experience in executing and managing different stakeholders internally and externally.

- Familiarity with procurement software and tools for efficient sourcing and supply chain management.
