Job Purpose:
Procurement Manager will handle overall Procurement process like Strategic sourcing, Forecasting, conduct research, negotiate with vendors, evaluate bids, Analyse data, Develop & implement Procurement strategy.

Role:
- Head of Procurement will be responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities including the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities for the company.
- This role requires expertise in implementing procurement strategy, strategic sourcing of high-quality material, developing long-term vendor partnerships, cost optimization, analyzing data, leadership and excellence in establishing strong procurement frameworks.
- Develop and execute scalable procurement strategies to support the firm's rapid growth and luxury project demands ensuring the highest quality, exclusivity, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, identify and source premium materials, building and maintaining strong relationships with high-end suppliers/vendors, ensuring the company has access to the best products, materials, and services, including handling complex contracts and ensuring smooth execution.
- Lead and manage the procurement department, overseeing a small team and ensuring effective collaboration with other departments.
- Maintain a comprehensive procurement database and documentation system.
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and performance evaluations to ensure suppliers meet the firm's strict quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct thorough negotiations to secure the best terms, pricing, and contracts while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the head of operations and collaborate with internal team including design, finance, and project management to ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials for each project. Provide regular updates on procurement progress and address any issues proactively.
- Oversee the creation and management of Bills of Quantities (BOQs), review specifications, and manage procurement timelines to meet project deadlines. Conduct regular site visits to verify that on-site work aligns with BOQ specifications.
- Monitor and approve purchase orders (POs), work orders (WOs), and vendor invoices, ensuring alignment with budgets and project requirements.
- Address and resolve discrepancies in purchase orders, invoices, or deliveries.
- Handle all post contract works such as amendments, finalization of new line, items, etc.
- Continuously improve procurement processes and implement innovative systems and align procurement strategies with the overall goals of the company, ensuring both short-term and long-term success.
- Track procurement spend against project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and industry regulations, mitigating supply chain risks.
What skills we are looking for?
Education:
- B.Arch/B.E. (Civil) or equivalent, PG/Diploma in Interior Designing or Project Management, MBA in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or equivalent
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management will be an add-on.
Experience:
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in procurement.
- Proven track record in managing procurement for high-end interior design projects
- Strong experience in vendor management, negotiations, and managing complex contracts
Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and grow a procurement team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions with attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of high-quality materials and sourcing in the luxury interior design market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and clients.
- Expertise in procurement systems, ERP software, and project management tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing startup environment, with the flexibility to adapt procurement strategies as the business scales.
The candidate must demonstrate extreme integrity and honesty, with a clean track employment record from current and past organizations.
