Minimum Qualifications:
• Diploma/bachelors degree
• 5+ years of previous related work experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment
Desired Skill Set:
• Experience in MS Office (Excel and/ or Power BI, Powerpoint, Word)
• Understanding of MSDS, Plant and Logistics Safety, Ergonomics, Quality and Manufacturing Process Knowledge, Inventory Management, Warehousing, Vehicle Documentation Knowledge.
• Effective written and verbal communication Skills
• Knowledge of Indian Transport Regulations
• Experience and proficiency with SAP and TMS systems
• Cost Budgeting Knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, Transportation
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Ability to work independently and interact within a team atmosphere
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects
• Knack for curiosity and challenging the status quo
What You will Do:
1. Oversee inventory control processes, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
2. Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained, and discrepancies are promptly addressed.
3. Implement and maintain systems for tracking and recording inventory movement.
4. Supervise the overall operations of the stores, warehouse, ensuring that goods are stored efficiently and safely.
5. Ensure proper shelving, labeling, and storage of materials.
6. Organize and implement stock rotation (FIFO, LIFO) and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
7. Lead, motivate, and develop the stores team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews.
8. Monitor the performance of store assistants, clerks, and other warehouse staff, providing feedback and support as needed.
9. Establish work schedules and ensure optimal staffing levels for smooth operations.
10. Ensure that all stored products are inspected for damage and compliance with quality standards.
11. Monitor the compliance of safety standards and health regulations in the warehouse environment.
12. Implement and maintain regular audits and checks to ensure inventory integrity.
13. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
14. Prepare regular reports for senior management on stock levels, usage trends, and operational performance.
15. Analyze inventory data to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
