Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science. Master degree in Logistics, Transportation
• 6+ years of previous related work experience in a manufacturing, logistics or related environment Desired Skill Set:
• Warehouse Management, Bulk Storage Management, Inventory & Cycle Count Management
• Transport Management, Stakeholder Management & Team Management
• Good Presentation Skills and data analysis( Microsoft Power point, Word Excel and/ or Power BI,)
• Understanding of MSDS, Plant and Logistics Safety, Ergonomics, Quality and Manufacturing Process Knowledge, transport Documentation Knowledge, Warehouse licenses.
• Effective written and verbal communication Skills
Preferred skill set:
• Proficiency in analytical tools
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Power BI
• Ability to work independently and interact within a team atmosphere
• Proven success leading cross-functional projects • Experience and proficiency with SAP and TMS systems
• Knack for curiosity and challenging the status quo
What You will Do:
1. Lead the Logistics Operations in the plant and WH ( Incoming & outbound)
2. Warehouse Management- Analyze warehouse performance and process improvements in warehouses.
3. Lead a team consisting of Inward supervisor and outward supervisor.
4. To Manage the inventories in the plant through daily checks and regular cycle counts ( Stock Accuracy)
5. Lead the warehouse operations making sure all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
6. Transport Management- to Analyze the transporter performance, new transporter onboarding. 7. Maintain and analyze critical Logistics KPIs such as Safety, Service & Cost
8. Identification & Execution of Logistics Savings Projects as per targets.
9. Cross checking and Submission of transport and Warehouse bills to Finance.
10. Monthly Provision Reports to be maintained and submission to Finance each month.
11. Partner with cross-functional teams in Quality, Planning, Procurement and Manufacturing to proactively identify and resolve quality and service issues relating to inward and outward logistics operations.
12. Undergo training programs as and when scheduled.
13. Microsoft Proficiency Required ( Powerpoint, Excel, Word), Monthly Performance reports.
14. Ensure proper storage as per norms. Knowledge of DG goods storage norms required.
15. Handling internal / external audit team.
16. To Maintain Operators daily working hours calculation and data need to provide to HR mid of every month.
