Sr Financial Analyst-I

Main Responsibilities:

• Designing and driving the Divisions long term, annual, and short-term financial and operating plans to drive sales growth, margin expansion, and business optimization
• Liaison with the Divisional business leaders and provide Country level updates
• Well versed and hands on EPM & HFM to perform both publishing and performing adhoc analysis on Oracle Essbase
• Reporting, analyzing, and summarizing financial and operational performance results including variance and trend analysis, risks and opportunity assessment, identification and follow up of corrective actions, and driving fact-based business decision-making.
• Directing financial management of the division, partnering with Divisional Senior Management to design and drive programs to improve financial performance and financial efficiency of the business.
• Developing ad/hoc analysis to supplement standard reporting to identify business opportunities or diagnose business challenges.
• Supporting a healthy control environment through partnership with the India Finance team and helping to own the business processes behind the controls. Using expert resources where appropriate.
• Create analytical tools and reports on key metrics to measure field, customer, segment and division performance
• Responsible for developing scorecards; District/SBU performance tracking; creating and monitoring of processes and procedures, and managing monthly reporting requirements
• Provides support, ad-hoc reporting, and analysis as requested by management or internal customers

Requisites:

• A minimum of 5-7 years experience with relevant experience in FP&A
• Control or P&A experience in a Global organization preferred with individual P&L responsibility of minimum $ 15Mn
• CAs or MBAs from reputed institute is what is preferred here
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Power BI or other digital tools will be an added advantage
• A team player who is a practitioner and “doer” with excellent experience working closely with division and finance personnel. Creative and decisive problem-solving skills along with an inclusive team orientation.
• Proven success and comfort in a multi-divisional, matrix organization. Must have a strong ability to understand how business operates in real world and display strong customer focus.
• Proficiency over English is mandatory both verbal and written, other languages a plus.
• A polished professional with the intelligence and verbal communication skills necessary to effectively interact at all levels. Above average executive presence with excellent presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with colleagues within Ecolab.
