Senior Financial Analyst

Position Overview: The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the financial planning and analysis activities of Aris in Mumbai. This role will play a crucial part in the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis processes, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning: Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of the annual budget and long-term financial plans
• Financial Analysis: Calculate and analyse key financial ratios related to liquidity, solvency, and efficiency, such as current ratio, debt-to-equity ratio, and working capital turnover.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports by analysing financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities and present reports to senior management.
• KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate the company's performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Financial Modelling: Create and maintain financial models to support decision-making, scenario planning, and sensitivity analysis.
• Ad-hoc Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.
• Balance Sheet Analysis: Thoroughly review and interpret a company's balance sheet to understand its asset allocation, debt levels, and equity composition.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Having a CA Degree is Mandatory. 1st Attempt candidates will be given preference.
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (Excel, financial software).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
