Senior Manager- Design Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Manager Civil Engineering with 10 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design coordination & coordination with Architect and MEP team. This role requires the ability to oversee complex projects, ensure seamless collaboration between design and execution teams, and deliver high-quality results within specified timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate for design constructability.
• Oversee and manage design coordination activities across multi-disciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP, Project etc.).
• Review and validate designs for technical accuracy, compliance with codes, and constructability.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between consultants, execution team, contractors, and internal teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and other technical staff.
• Ensure that all designs meet local and international building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare design, technical documents, and project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes, approvals, coordinate with key person of execution & design team.
• Can take independent decision on site for design related issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 10–12 years of experience in a design coordination role.
• Proficiency in design and coordination software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, and BIM tools, MS Office.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
