Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct synthetic/analytical/formulation experiments in the lab safely and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures and data as per company SOPs and industry guidelines (NABL, GLP, IMS, RCMS).
• Perform literature searches using available tools and keep updated with advancements in synthetic, analytical, and formulation chemistry with a focus on agrochemicals.
• Adhere to safety protocols, referring to MSDS for chemicals and ensuring safe handling procedures.
• Carry out process familiarization, optimization, and scale-up activities to meet project timelines.
• Monitor and analyze experimental data, correlate results, and make recommendations for further process improvements.
• Prepare work reports, SOPs, and other technical documents.
• Participate in scientific discussions and contribute innovative ideas to the team.
• Support technology transfer activities and demonstrate batch processes to PD Labs and manufacturing units.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: MSc in Organic Chemistry / Ph.D. in Chemistry.
• Experience: 2-4 years in industrial synthetic/analytical/formulation chemistry in process chemistry.
• Preferred Experience: 3-5 years of experience in process R&D in the agrochemical industry.
