Chief Compliance Officer

NKFL is looking for recruitment for the following post:

Chief Compliance Officer (1 post: Mumbai, Maharashtra)

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will be responsible for coordinating the identification and management of the Company's compliance risk. He/ She will be the in-charge of Compliance Function of the Company.

Broad roles and responsibilities are as under:

1. Assist the Board and the Senior Management in overseeing the implementation of Compliance Policy, including policies and procedures, prescriptions in Compliance Manuals, Internal codes of conduct, etc.
2. Play the central role in identifying the level of Compliance risk at NKFL. The Compliance risks in existing / new products and processes shall be analyzed and appropriate risk mitigates put in place.
3. Monitor and test Compliance by performing sufficient and representative Compliance testing, and the results of such Compliance testing shall be reported to the Senior Management.
4. Attend to compliance with Directions from other regulators in cases where the activities of the entity are not limited to the regulation/supervision of RBI.
5. Serve as a reference point for the staff from Business Departments for seeking clarifications / interpretation of various regulatory and statutory guidelines.
6. Serve as the nodal point of contact between NABKISAN and the Regulators /Supervisors and shall necessarily be a participant in the Structured or other regular discussions held with RBI.
7. Provide compliance to RBI inspection reports.
8. Any other work as assigned by the management, from time to time.

Educational Qualifications

• A Post-graduate degree in finance, law, business administration or a related field.

Desirable (any one )

• Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - International (CCEP-I)
• Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP)

Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional (GRCP

Skills

• Thorough knowledge of the industry standards, laws and regulations in India.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements for NBFCs in India.
• Demonstrable experience in compliance and risk management.
• Knowledge of financial crime and anti-money laundering regulations
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience in Banking, Financial sector and Insurance (BFSI).
• Minimum 05 years experience in Senior Management Level in compliance management in regulated lending entity in BFSI sector or in any reputed credit rating agency by RBI.

Age

Not more than 65 years as on date of application

Place of Posting

• The place of posting for the present will be Mumbai
• However, depending on administrative requirement of NABKISAN candidate may be placed anywhere in the country in future.

Contract Period

• The CCO will be appointed on contract basis initially for a period of three years which may be extended by 1 year based on the performance.
• The appointment shall be subject to review of performance on half yearly basis. The Company may terminate the contract of service if the performance is found unsatisfactory during the period of Contract.
• Termination of contract will be by giving one-month notice by either side or payment by the candidate in lieu of notice period of one month.

Compensation

• Annual CTC: Rs.25 Lakh - 35 Lakh with an annual increment of 5%, based on satisfactory performance, depending of the merits of the candidates.
• Entitled for to and fro air fare (economy class) and applicable TA/HA for official visits, as per the eligibility of Sr. VP/COO.

Leave

• 18 Days of Casual leave in a calendar year, on a proportionate basis, provided that not more than 07 days leave may be availed at a stretch and that Saturday/Sunday/Holiday may not be combined in such a way that total absence on any one occasion exceeds 10 days (including intervening holidays / Saturday /Sunday, if any).
• Leave will however be granted subject to exigencies of work.
• Any absence beyond the above period will be treated as leave without any pay and the remuneration payable to him/her will be reduced to that extent.
• Unavailed leave at the end the year will not be carried forward.
