Job Description
- Drafting, vetting and negotiating various Agreements like Memorandum of undertaking, Master service Agreement, License Agreement, Service Level Agreements, Engagement Letters, General terms and Conditions, NDA s, Bank Guarantees, official letters and communications and Various other Amendment Agreements & Addendums.
- Scrutinizing the Legal Risk involved in Agreement/contracts
- Drafting and vetting replies and responses of letters/queries received from Various authorities (including EOW, SFIO, Crime Branch, Cybercrime unit, etc.)
- Attend meetings with internal Stakeholders to resolve their queries with respect to the Agreements.
- Attend meetings with Vendors (along with the internal stake holders) to negotiate and close the Agreement.
- Drafted templates of Agreements (from scratch) based on the requirements of the Department.
- Revise the existing templates to make the Agreement even more robust and watertight.
- Drafted various clauses, provisions and documents to comply with certain internal policies and policies issued by Regulatory Body.
- Identify and mitigate the risks associated with Agreements/contracts.
- Researching on various legal issues/propositions and queries received from internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining records, Trackers and MIS
- Advise and guide the internal stakeholders to help them comply with all the regulatory requirements.
- Should be well-versed with The India Contract Act, 1872 and The Companies Act 2013, etc.
