Job Description for UX Design Role at WESCO India. Job Title: UX Designer Location: Bangalore Role Overview: As a UX Designer at WESCO, you will work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive and engaging digital experiences. You will be responsible for designing seamless user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and conducting user research to validate design decisions. Your goal will be to ensure that our users have a delightful and efficient experience across our digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: User Research & Analysis: o Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and competitor analysis to gather insights. o Develop personas, journey maps, and user flows based on research findings. o Analyze user data to identify pain points and areas for improvement. Interaction & Visual Design: o Design user-centric interfaces for Web and Mobile. o Create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma o Maintain consistency in design through style guides, Design Systems, and component libraries. Collaboration & Communication: o Work closely with Product Owners and Engineers to ensure designs align with technical constraints and product goals. o Present design concepts to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback. o Advocate for the user experience within cross-functional teams. Usability Testing & Iterations: o Organize and conduct usability tests to validate design assumptions and optimize user experiences. o Use feedback to iterate and refine designs, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals. Continuous Improvement: o Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX design. o Continuously improve design processes, efficiency, and user outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a product-focused environment. Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma Experience conducting user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) and synthesizing findings. Knowledge of UX Design Principles and Human-Centered Design Solid understanding of Web and Mobile platform design standards and guidelines. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders. A portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of UX principles and the design process (wireframes, prototypes, etc.) Experience in Mobile App Designing is a plus.
