Job Description
This is a highly collaborative role with great opportunity for impact, working across the ESG business, and with members of the marketing team in PR, content, design, digital, events, and product. MSCI ESG is an established player in the field, pushing the envelope on investor-driven solutions, standard-setting, transparency, and research across asset classes. We are looking for an action-oriented marketing professional with a passion for building a sustainable future to jump into a fast-paced, high growth team setting the standard for ESG Climate investing.
The Associate, ESG Climate Marketing, will report into the Head of ESG Climate Marketing for EMEA within the MSCI product marketing team.
Your Key Responsibilities - Work collaboratively to deliver solutions marketing campaigns, from vision to strategy and execution, including success metrics and audience / segment targeting
- Engage with internal stakeholders and senior leaders to refine messaging and positioning for research and product campaigns
- Source, secure, and deliver on advertising and sponsored content opportunities to support product and research campaign goals
- Successfully project manage campaign deliverables cross-functionally at the firm and with external agencies and developers where necessary
- Develop and oversee content updates, creative ideas, and digital-first educational tools for ESG Climate landing pages on msci.com
- Coordinate and oversee regular maintenance and updates of ESG Climate evergreen collateral, pitchbooks, factsheets, and brochures
- Stratify and respond to requests from the client coverage organization and product teams for new client-centric materials
- Lead on building innovative digital events representing both local needs and global priorities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key ESG Climate industry organizations, serving both investors and corporates.
- Track and report on campaign success, including awareness, engagement, and conversion metrics
- Monitor and maintain awareness of new trends and the changing landscape of ESG climate investing, including advances in regulation (ISSB, CSRD), reporting requirements, asset owner commitments, and others
- Bachelor s / Master s degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, PR or related field
- Demonstrated understanding and passion for ESG and Climate investing and/or corporate sustainability, with a preference for marketing experience at a financial institution with a strong ESG integration story
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and able to effectively manage different projects at the same time
- Proven experience in communicating to and managing multiple stakeholders across corporate environments
- 4+ years experience in driving product marketing and communications strategies
- Excellent program management, administration, and organizational skills to coordinate and influence the different teams globally while embracing and taking ownership of projects
- Global awareness and sensitivity in working across time zones and cultures
- Understanding of measuring ROI, metrics and ability to report on success of marketing initiatives
