Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
• Gender: Both (male and female can apply)
• 3-4 years o f design experience and team handling experience will be an added advantage
• Machine design experience is mandatory
• Responsible for understanding clients/process requirements.
• Experience in Design of Special Purpose Machines & Automation Solutions is preferred.
• Should have experience in defining SOPs for design process, BOM Preparation, Standard Parts Selection Knowledge & Automation parts (motor, gear box, ball screw, LM rail, coupling)
• Should possess knowledge on
• Analysis and Design of Shaft, Structural Member, Selection of Motor, Bearing, Gear Box, Coupling, Equipment Sizing, Screw Capacity and Power Calculation.
• GD & T, Machining Processes & Assembly Process.
• Sheet metal design for aesthetic look for industrial cabinets and machines
• NPD (new product design) capabilities
• Research and data collecting capabilities for new components & mechanisms
• Participate in design review meetings to provide appropriate recommendations
• Project Plan & Project Documentation
• Co-ordinate with all relevant departments during machine building.
• Willing to adapt new technologies and learn quickly.
• Should have strong decision-making skills.
