Equipment Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Hardware Design Engineer with expertise in researching, evaluating, commissioning & repairing kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical components, including motors, PLCs, PCBs, compressors, and HVAC systems. You will be responsible for identifying the right new equipment & enhancing the functionality, efficiency and reliability of existing kitchen equipment, working closely with in-house maintenance teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate & Analyze: Identify the right kitchen equipment from suppliers based in India/China/Europe for an identified task
• Design & Improve: Develop cost-effective design improvements to enhance functionality and reliability of existing and new equipment.
• Repair & Maintain: Support repairs, installation, and calibration of equipment. Document changes made.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors for parts and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelors/Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD/Inventor and designing equipment with motors, PLCs, PCBs, compressors.
