Role Overview:
The Vendor Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing vendors to support our business objectives. The role involves establishing strong relationships with vendors, ensuring smooth communication, and working closely with stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Acquisition:
• Identify and onboard vendors that align with the organizations needs and standards.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their suitability.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors.
• Coordination:
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendors and manage day-to-day communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure vendor performance meets project requirements.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts between vendors and stakeholders promptly.
• Stakeholder Management:
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their vendor requirements and expectations.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on vendor performance and progress.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align vendor strategies with business objectives.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Monitor vendor performance using established KPIs and feedback mechanisms.
• Conduct regular reviews and provide performance improvement recommendations to vendors.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in vendor acquisition, coordination, or a similar role.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in using vendor management tools and software.
• Familiarity with market trends and vendor landscapes.
• Based in Bengaluru or willing to relocate (preferred).
