Drupal Developer

Job Summary:

The Drupal Software Engineer - Support is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our Drupal websites. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to support and improve our web infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and Support:
• Monitor and maintain Drupal websites to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Provide timely support for website issues, including debugging, fixing bugs, and implementing enhancements.
• Technical Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the Drupal platform, including server, application, and database problems.
• Work with hosting providers to manage server configurations and resolve hosting-related issues.
• Development and Customization:
• Develop and implement custom modules and themes as needed.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure new features and changes are seamlessly integrated.
• Optimize website performance through code optimization, caching strategies, and other best practices.
• Documentation and Training:
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for site configurations, custom code, and processes.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and end-users on using and managing Drupal sites.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• Proven experience as a Drupal developer, with a strong focus on support and maintenance.
• Proficiency in Drupal 8/9, including custom module and theme development.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
