Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to oversee the complete payroll process, including taxes, for both US and UK employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws in both countries and a proven track record of accurately managing payroll operations.



Role & responsibilities


  • • Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for both US and UK employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • • Tax Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll tax laws and regulations in the US and UK, and ensure payroll tax compliance for all employees.
  • • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits, and ensure accurate deductions and contributions.
  • • Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data, including timekeeping, attendance, and leave balances.
  • • Reporting: Generate regular payroll reports and analyses for management review, and provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • • Audits and Compliance: Prepare for and participate in payroll audits, both internal and external, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with payroll service providers, tax authorities, and other relevant vendors, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  • • Employee Support: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related inquiries, issues, and concerns, and provide timely and accurate resolution.
  • • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in payroll and benefits administration, and drive initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and coordination of payroll and benefits administration processes.



Preferred candidate profile


  • Atleast a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll management, with specific experience managing payroll for both US and UK employees.
  • • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and tax laws in the US and UK.
  • • Proficiency in payroll software and systems, such as ADP, Workday, or SAP.
  • • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred.
