Job Description

Position/TITLE: Cloud Engineer

Location : Offshore - Hyderabad/Bangalore/Pune

Who are we looking for:

Looking for individuals with 4 to 6 years of experience. A highly motivated and skilled Full-Stack Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and applications.

You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from designing and deploying scalable architectures to writing clean and maintainable code. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud solutions align with business needs and deliver optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

Technical Skills - Must have

Strong proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP). GCP preferred.

Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based applications and infrastructure across various platforms (Any of GCP, AWS, Azure)

Select and configure appropriate cloud services based on specific project requirements and constraints.

Implement infrastructure automation with tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using various programming languages. (Python (Required), Knowledge of Java, C#, JavaScript is a plus).

Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

Utilize DevOps practices for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

Design, configure, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for MLOps.

Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost efficiency.

Implement security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Collaborate with developers, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and successful deployments.

Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies, MLOps tools and trends

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Masters degree preferred).

Process Skills:

General SDLC processes

Understanding of utilizing Agile and Scrum software development methodologies

Skill in gathering and documenting user requirements and writing technical specifications.

Behavioral Skills:

Work closely with designers, Architects, data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Communicate effectively and share technical knowledge with the team.

Be open to feedback and continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Passion for learning and staying updated on the latest technologies.

Good Attitude and Quick learner.

Certification (Good to have) :

Cloud development certification (Any of GCP, Azure or AWS). GCP preferred.

AI/ML certification

I worked with Mphasis only for 6 months and in those 6 months I worked for 3 months only that to at client site. The client site environment was good.

Dislikes

I felt a few people feels that they own the company and gets so rude with the employees. I personally didn't like their attitude , had to quit within 6 months. Otherwise I had a plan to stay for long.
