Job Description

Sr Salesforce Developer

Who are we looking for

A Salesforce Developer to manage a project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Years of Experience - 6+

Technical Skills:

6 + years of hands-on Salesforce development experience

Proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing complex Salesforce solutions

Experience in leading Salesforce development projects and mentoring junior developers

Strong proficiency in Apex programming and Salesforce development tools

Experience with Visualforce and Lightning components

Understanding of Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP) for external integrations

Knowledge of data manipulation and data management techniques within Salesforce

Good to have hands on Snowflake and Mulesoft

Good to have knowledge of Salesforce platform features including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and App Cloud

Proficiency in Apex programming language, including triggers, classes, and controllers

Expertise in Visualforce development and Lightning Web Components

Knowledge of Salesforce data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard)

Analyzing Salesforce performance bottlenecks and implementing optimizations to improve system efficiency

Maintaining existing Salesforce applications, addressing bugs, and implementing updates

Monitoring system health and proactively identifying potential issues

Architecting and designing robust, scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs.

Developing custom Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other Salesforce features to meet specific requirements.

Implementing integrations with external applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, oAuth, and other integration methods.

Writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to Salesforce development best practices.

Leading and mentoring junior Salesforce developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews

Collaborating with cross-functional teams (business analysts, project managers, QA) to ensure project success

Identifying and resolving technical challenges within the development team

Process Skills:

Troubleshoot key implementation issues and demonstrate ability to drive to successful resolution. Lead evaluation of business and technical requirements from a senior level.

Identification and pro-active management of technical risk areas and commitment to seeing an issue through to complete resolution.

Build relationships with business and technology partners, internal and external, and contributing to broader goals and growth beyond the scope of a single project.

Behavioral Skills :

Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.

Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.

Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.

Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.

Certification:

Salesforce Platform Developer II (PDII) certification is required.

I worked with Mphasis only for 6 months and in those 6 months I worked for 3 months only that to at client site. The client site environment was good.

Dislikes

I felt a few people feels that they own the company and gets so rude with the employees. I personally didn't like their attitude , had to quit within 6 months. Otherwise I had a plan to stay for long.
