- The Manager Business Planning & Opportunity plays a strategic role in driving MOVINs commercial growth through market intelligence, pricing strategy, business planning, and cross-functional initiatives.
- This role leads a team responsible for aligning MOVINs offerings with market dynamics, supporting yield improvement, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Spearhead the creation and execution of Product and Pricing Strategies
- Lead the annual and monthly business planning cycles, including volume and revenue forecasting across segments, products and channels
- Design and execute pricing strategies across industries, customer tiers, and channels, ensuring alignment with financial and market objectives
- Conduct detailed market, competitor, and regulatory analysis to identify growth opportunities and guide product positioning
- Own the discounting framework and drive yield optimization initiatives across freight and accessorial services
- Drive commercial initiatives including lane optimization, customer profitability management and seasonal surcharges
- Lead Annual Rate Increase planning and support implementation across the customer base
- Build scalable processes for pricing governance, forecast, and performance measurement
- Partner with Inside Sales team to drive digital sales growth, segment target strategies, and performance insights
- Launch and manage customer surveys and feedback mechanisms to feed into pricing and product strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure alignment on key initiatives
- Lead, coach and develop a team to ensure high quality deliverables and business impact
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong grasp of business planning, pricing, and revenue management principles
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and strategic projects
- Expertise in market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and commercial planning
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with CRM (Salesforce), pricing, and BI tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, especially with senior leadership
Educational Qualifications: MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, or related field
